My "New Toy"

Last weekend I got myself a brand new mixer (finally!!). Yeah, now I no need to use hands to do the mixing! ....guess you guys must be thinking : huh? no mixer? so charm hah? hahaha...I am very pity indeed. Before this, my hands are my mixer; when getting tired already, I asked my brother or sister to help me! I still can survive without mixer for such a long time, poor me. In fact I stop baking since Wien is born. Before that I love to bake Banana Cake or cookies during CNY. After having her (now with addition of Lyon), me even no time to bake. The mixer just arrived on time, meaning I can bake cake ( or cakes) for Mother's Day. So I went to supermarket buy for all the necessary ingredients, and do the baking on Friday night. Then the next day, I bake another banana cake for my own mum and bring back to her on the same day. Then again on Sunday afternoon, I bake butter cake for MIL and for myelf as the cake for Mother's Day! I even coated the butter cake with chocolate and some colorful sugar, so that my girls will love it. When the cake is done with all these, Wien decorate it with her new toy, the snow white (from McDonald) where she just got it on Saturday night and Hello Kitty; meanwhile MIL pick a rose,put on it too! Hahaha....finally the cake look like as it we buy from bakery shop! LOL Wow, I had bake 3 cakes in this weekend.....more cakes are coming! Who want? who want? My mixer & Banana Cake

Whats in my handbag?

Kena tagged by Hui Sia on this abnormal tag. Anyway, it's fun, as I also curious to know other women's handbag content too! I have many handbag too, just love to own them but each time shop at handbag dept, hubby will remind nag me : eh, u still have others bag sleeping in your wardrobe ler! *sigh*...but I just ignore him as I am working and I have my own income mah! hahaha... p/s: ..... he ever bought me a handbag from Germany, but I not really like the design! Only use it once. Frankly, I like to dump everything into my bag, like those slip, receipt, notes (small piece of paper where I copy recepi from net, hope can cook during weekend). All these I did not take the photos, seem like rubbish paper! :P Currently I am using this bag, I like the stripe design. Not expensive too, as I bought it during sales! Handbag content : - purse - handphone - cosmetic bag (DIY by myself, very useful for me) - bank book ( this week want to go bank to do some banking transaction) - 2 pen drive (1 just given by hubby, as he got a new one during recent PICOM fair) - car, house & office key - 1 liquid paper & 3 pen (wow, how come got so many pens? Opps, I also don't know..LOL) - tissue. In fact I found 2 panty liner in one of the compartment! Don't want to show in photo lar, paiseh paiseh! Purse content - IC - driving license - 2 credit cards - 2 girls & myself's medical card - 1 ATM card - 1 Jusco card Cosmetic bag content: - comb - 1 lip balm - 2 lipstick ( 2 different color) - eyeliner - 1 mirror - 1 nail clipper - 1 lip pallete (4 combo color) - 2 way foundation (own it but seldom use, only use for dinner or special function) I guess now you know who am I, hehehe..yes , I like & love to "ban leng leng"... 世上只有妈妈好

Most of us know Mother's Day is coming. I don't know how to write touching poem as good as Mumsgather, also don't know how to express well my feeling via words (like Michelle did); so I dedicate song to every mummies out there. Not sing by me but Wien, recorded by hubby when she is 30 month+ ( 2 1/2 year old). Not a full song though but do hope you mummies like it!

吵架？

Below moment happen quite often recently..... In living hall, Wien hook at TV watching her carton series, Lyon entertaining herself by playing those toys or book. We adult either read newspaper or just sitting there watch the carton series. Suddenly Wien go to Lyon, grab the thing that she hold.... Wien : 妹，这是阿姐的！(Mei, this is mine! ) Lyon : 阿姐！(Ah Jie!) ...shout with her loud and stern voice, eyes looking straight (瞪) at Wien! Wien : ....still ignore Lyon, play the stuff that she grab.... Lyon : 阿姐！(Ah Jie! ) ... she shout again with more louder and stern voice!...I expect she'll cry and complaint to me as usual, but she is not, she scold her jie jie in her way! haha...very cute moment indeed! Of course I cannot stand with Wien's bad attitute, I talk to her.... Me : 维，给回小妹！( Give back to xiao mei) Wien : 我的，不要! ( It's mine, no!) Me : 妈咪讲给回她, 小妹先拿的！(Mummy said give back, she play the toy first!) Wien : ...unwillingly threw back to Lyon, then show her fierce face with arm band to Lyon..... Lyon : ...happily took back and continue to play... Naughty Wien bully Lyon again, at the end, kena scold & lecture by mummy again.

How to plant it?

"How to plant it?" 2 mummies left this comment in my previous post. So, this short post, courtesy for Twinsmom and Magictree…(psst psst…I thought everyone know how to plant it ler, that’s why I only showed it in slide show in my previous post.) Ok, to plant vegetable is very easy. Get ready the soil and the seed, that’s it. You can plant either in polystyrene or pot. The seed can get it from supermarket or from fertilizer shop, so does the soil. You want to korek soil from roadside also can, but make sure not caught by bandaraya wor! LOL From the slide, noticed my girls pouring something onto the soil? That’s was spinach seed. After pouring the seed, dun forget to water it daily, also can use your kids’ virgin urine (but make sure dilute with water wor!)…hahaha… Yesterday my hubby prepared another polystyrene, put in some soil, then ask the girls to pour in the sayur sawi's seed (菜心米） this round..sorry, I don't how to call this in English, becos of my half pail water English....now, just wait for it to sprout! Spring Green Onion Other than vege that we plant, my MIL also plant spring onion. This one also simple, she got few 秧苗 from her friend, and plant it in polystyrene too. She told me this spring onion called 四季葱 (4 season onion??), very nice and tasty as compare to those sell at wet market. I cannot differentiate them, for me there are the same...LOL Well , to plant spring onion also simple. Get ready the soil, make small hole, then put in one shallot per hole, until your polystyrene is full with all the shallots. Dun forget to water them daily, but cannot put excessive water in earlier stage (MIL say one), scare the shallot might become rotten at the bottom. Within few days, you can see green leave sprouting out from the shallot. Beside the spring onion (as shown in above picture) was shive, 韭菜, also planted by MIL. This one also got the 秧苗 from her friend. I am not sure whether can get the seed from market or not, as I never seen it before. But I noticed there were some seed after the shive's flower become dry; perhaps can use it to plant. Once started plant the spring onion and shive, you can eat them almost everyday, just like us now! MIL add it in almost every dish, in soup too! Old folk said eat more spring onion, will become very intellingent wor (葱=聪）! Believe or not? :P So, Twinsmom & Magictree, did my explaination help? Sorry, no step by step photos to show...

Our Spinach

Yeah, the spinach growing well now. I think in 2 weeks time, can harvest them and cook as dish lor. But the little farmer (Wien) no water it everyday, become lazy bum now. When I asked her.... Me : 维，今天有浇水吗？（Did u water the vege today?) Wien : 不必浇啦！昨天下雨咧！(No need la, last night raining ler!) ~~last night where got raining wor?~~ this is her excuses she gave me almost everyday! *sigh* So who do the watering job? No need to guess, sure is MIL. Other than using water, she also use Wien & Lyon's "virgin urine"（童子尿） to water it. Hahaha...no wonder the leave so greenish lar, got "kah liu" (加料）one wor! Sometimes I teasing at Wien, that we got to "drink/eat" her urine later, she giggling and said : 不会啦，洗了就干净罗！(no la, after wash the vege, then become clean lor! )

Sometimes when Wien did her "big business" in her potty, I'll ask her:

Me : 要把大便放在菜那边吗？(do you want to keep your shit to your vege? ) Wien : 不可以，等下菜很臭，很肮脏！(cannot put shit to the vege, very dirty and smelly!) Me : 酱为什麽你的尿又可以？(then why you put your urine there?) Wien : 尿会吃进去泥土，然后给菜喝掉！不是不臭啰！(urine will goes into the soil and drink by the vege! then no smelly lor!)

Bat Kut Teh

First time when I cook bat kut teh, I just use ready made packet from Cosway. Dump it together with the pork rib and whole glove of garlic. Boil for approximate 1-1.5 hour. Yikes, the taste so bad, not nice at all. After quite some time, my elder sister told me, have to "kah liu"(加料） only nice, so she taught me use 2 packet instead of 1, then add some tong sum(党参), dang gui(当归), gou zhi (枸子), red dates (红枣） etc... I tried again with her recepi, erm...not bad wor! So most of the time I will cook this way! Until one day one of my friend told me those chinese medical hall sell one also very nice, they will use ready make packet too, but 'kah liu" too! 2 months back,when I bought my girls' milk powder in chinese medical hall that I use to "pong chan", I ask them whether thyey sell any "bat kut teh" ingredient or not. He said yes, ask me how much I want, he ahs RM3, RM4, RM5...depend how thick the soup u want. Being first timer, so I ask for RM5. Cook it in one of the weekend with pork rib + whole glove of garlic again, of course have to wash it before dump into the pot! Boil for nearly 1 hour plus, then add some pepper, light and dark soy sauce. The taste much better than my earlier recepi! The ingredients buy from the chinese medical hall got : ready made packet, tong sum（党参）, gou qi （枸杞）, red dates（红枣）, huang qi（黄耆）, kan zhao （干草）, shu di (熟地)...as shown in above pic. I think if u buy those ready made packet and just add these ingredient, the taste will be good too! p/s: I ever tried the BKT as mentioned in Jason's blog, but hubby and I not really like it! Salty and spicy too! maybe that day the cook not in good mood gua!

Almost kena summon!!

This morning I nearly kena summon again! ~sweat~ JPJ has a road block at the usual place, the place where I kena my first summon few months back. When I reached the junction, saw many cars slow down, stopped and offered their license to the officer. I guess they must be checking on the driving license, so I dig my handbag to search for my purse, to get ready for it. I dig dig dig, cannot find my purse!! Die lor this time, where did I put it?? After a while, only recall I must be left it on my dressing table, since last night went out to pump petrol and bought girls' milk powder...Aiyo, so "big head prawn", I was thinking this time must be kena summon again....*sigh* When reach my turn, the officer ask for my license... JPJ1 : Mana license? Me : sorry la, saya tak bawa, purse tertinggal dalam rumah! JPJ1 : IC ada? Me : semua barang dalam purse la. Boleh saya telephone bapa I hantar untuk saya? JPJ1 : ok, you telephone sekarang....tinggal mana? Me : Tangkak town, tak jauh dari sini. JPJ1 : ok la, kereta bawa ke tepi tunggu! Me : what a relief when I heard he said can wait for my family member to send for me! After parked my car at road side, I quickly called my FIL, told him my purse location, of course with MIL's help, becos it was in my room. While waiting for my FIL, another officer come towards JPJ1, ask him why let me wait. I overheard JPJ1 said since I stay nearby, nevermind la, just wait for someone to send me the license...how kind the JPJ1.... ....later other JPJ officers chit-chat with me while they check on other vehicle.... JPJ2 : so u tak bawa purse hari ini, tak payah makan la? Me : tak apa, kawan saya boleh belanja I. JPJ2 : tak payah makan la, puasa hari ini... Me : tak boleh puasa la, nanti I pengsan wor! JPJ2 : hahaha..(other also laugh)... Me : saya tak bawah IC, tak ada license, you pun tak boleh saman saya. JPJ2 : ya lor..tak apa, kita tunggu you punya bapak datang. Me : hari ini birthday saya ler, kena tahan JPJ pulak. JPJ2 : wow, happy birthday ....siapa suruh u tak bawa license keluar? Me : thank you, thank you...(smile to them) JPJ2 : so malam ini tiup lilin la? husband ada beli cake ? Me : tak ada la. JPJ3 : tak ada cake ka? makan besar malam ini? Me : minggu lalu sudah makan besar lor! JPJ3 : wah, lagi cepat u celebrate... (they laugh) ......already past 10 minutes, wonder how come yet to see my FIL's car....I must be late to office today, sms to my colleagua told them, just in case my boss looking for me. JPJ2 : lambat you punya bapak datang? Me : ya lor, dia bawa kereta slow la. JPJ3 : so you punya birthday, 4 haribulan Mei la.. Me : yaya, nanti u boleh check I punya IC. JPJ3 : saya punya motor plate : MBG 45 (wonder why he said like that?)....sama dengan you punya tarikh...(oh, he meant 4 for the date, 5 for the month) Me : dulu husband I nak ambil May 4 untuk saya, tapi tak ada wang la...orang kaya sudah ambil itu number.... JPJ : ya la, orang kaya sudah ambil la.. JPJ : apa tahun u lahir? Me : 72 JPJ : macam tu, u ambil 4572 la Me : tak mahu la, number ini tak cantik! ....wait another 5 minutes, only saw my FIL's car came..姗姗来迟...so happy when I saw the car! Get the purse from him, search for my license and IC, pass to the officer. They let me go afterwards, not forgot to wish me Happy Birthday too..hahahaa...lucky no kena summon again!

Birthday Girl & the weekend

29/04/06 As planned, we threw a mini party for Wien's 4th birthday tonight. We only called SILs's family and their kids to join the fun. Wien very excited as she received few present from them. As usual, I prepared some simple dish to serve them, not forget the cake too! My present already given to her on her exact date, both Wien and Lyon like it very much! Is a bowling set! But naughty Wien sometimes not allow mei mei to play with it; after few time "lecture" with her, now both can play together with the set! Else I have to keep them in store room.

Lyon cannot see the cake clearly, so I placed her to sit on the table while Wien get ready to blow the candle. Right after we finish singing birthday song, she quickly finish blowing all the candles, Wien cannot even blow one! Then I light on the candle again, told Lyon that should let jie jie blow them, not u! She seem can understand.

After that, hubby ask me light on the candle again as he want Lyon to blow it this round. When we ask Lyon to blow it, she clap her hands pulak, meaning that she want us to sing the birthday song first! hahaha..so we sing again, after that only she blow the candle!

During cake cutting session, Lyon's toe accidentally "kick" the cake, everyone said dun want to cut that portion for them, they said dirty feet wor...but Wien go and lick the cake that stick to Lyon's toe! Can u imagine that? My silly girl!! Hubby managed to snap the scents too!

Monday night, hubby took us out for dinner at Duyong Ikan Bakar, to celebrate my birthday in advance. We drive for 1 hour only reach there. It was in a fishing village, can see many boats parking along the river too. Both girls very excited when see the boats. We ordered many food, including : sweet & sour fish, ikan bakar, fried big prawn, lala fried with chilli padi, fried sotong and nasi lemak. Lyon has her pre-prepared porridge, also share some non spicy food with us! Wien can take those food except spicy lala. She keep telling us : Mummy, the prawn very sweet, the sotong very nice ler! The nasi lemak was served with banana leave, Wien said: 妈咪，我们很可怜 hor ，用叶子吃饭！(Mummy, we very pity hor, have to use leave to eat rice!) ...lol

Wien and my birthday only different by exactly 1 week. After celebrating my birthday, next will be Mother's Day, have not think of how to celebrate this day yet. Just love April & May, so many days can celebrate!

我要等一个东西！

"I want to wait for one thing!" Last night I put Lyon to sleep first as usual. But I still can hear Wien talking to her papa from the room. I heard she was telling papa : 等一下，我要等一个东西！(Wait a while, I want to wait for one thing!). I wonder what is that too! Last night Lyon play till 11pm only she doze off. When I stepped out from bedroom, noticed no one in living hall. Hubby went out for tea-chat at mamak stall, Wien went to MIL's room liao. I was happy as I no need to changed for Wien. Later I blog hoping in living hall, while waiting for hubby to come back. But I still can hear Wien talking in MIL's room, wow, nearly midnight liao, yet she still talking so loud in the room. Well, I just keep quiet, if I go to her, sure she will come to my room and sleep with me. After 15 minutes, FIL came out from his room and switch the light in second hall; immediately after that, I heard Wien came out from the room and she thought was me! When she saw it was Gong Gong, she said : 哎哟，是公公喔！(Aiyah, it's gong gong wor!) , then she enter the room again. I heard what she said but still quietly hoop to my notebook, and she does not know I was there...hehehee...I was happy at that time and seem like playing peek-a-boo with her! Later hubby came back, he told me Wien is waiting for something just now. The thing was ME (我就是那个东西！) ! No wonder she came out just now la...Later hubby on the light. She came out again, as she thought this time must be mummy. When she saw it's was her papa, she feel very upset, almost want to cry, but she still enter MIL's room after that. I feel it's fun as she did not come to living room or my room to look for me, silly girl. But less than 5 minutes, I heard she was crying in MIL's room, I wonder what's wrong with her! I quickly walk towards her room, and she also came out from there too with her tearing face! Oh, my darling girl, crying looking for mummy. I keep asking her why. She did not answer me. So I ask her sleep with me tonight, then only she stop crying. When I wake up this morning, only know why she cry and look for me last night. According to MIL, she wait for me to come out from room, just want to see my face and say "Night Night" before sleep!!! Arggghhhh...me very bad mummy...lucky last night I get her sleep with me!

Little Farmers

Few months back, hubby said want to let Wien try on farming (plant vegetable). So I get MIL to get me one polystyrene from wet market. Few weeks ago, in one of the weekend, we started the farming. Wien very excited with it, so does Lyon. Every morning, before I left to work, I'll remind Wien to shower the plant, else they will die of thirsty.

btw, we plant spinach! I think have to wait few more weeks only we can eat the vege!

She is 4!!

Today is Wien's 4th birthday. Original plan is to have small party tonight, but I change my mind few days ago. We postpone it to coming weekend, if do it today, that's mean MIL has to do most of the cooking preparation, then I will feel guilty. At least in weekend, I can do it with hubby's help. When she wake up this morning, she look for her present. I told her today no wor, have to wait another 2 days. She seem like quite disappointed, keep asking why "jingle bell" (her version of Santa Clause) did not come last night. Usually we will place her present near her bed at night, to surprise her! How she knew today is her birthday? Well, we get her to tear off the daily calendar everyday at night (those big chinese type calendar), then tell us what is tomorrow date and day. She learn numbering from there too! So we told her when she see the calendar show 27, that's mean is her big day tomorrow. Therefore she knew her birthday since last night, so keep thinking will get present once she wake up! hehehe..pity her! I had made her a card only, she saw it once she stepped out from bedroom. Her expression not as happy as when she got a DIY card from Autie Michelle few days ago ler...becos Auntie Michelle one more prettier and more cute than mine lar....will post both cards later... In fact, both hubby and I not plan to buy her anything, as she has so many toys and playing stuff in the house now, I have problem in keeping them too! But this morning saw her disappointed face, I feel guity and sorry. Today lunch break, must shop something for her!

SAHM III

Yesterday I was on 1 day off, be SAHM again. MIL went for her next check up, related post can find here. She had done the biopsy during her last check up, so this trip mainly is to collect her result. Finally the long waiting result is out, it showed the lump is not harmful...phew!! But MIL request for a surgery to remove it. The dr had put in her request in a list first, as according to hin, since it's not harmful, so she still can wait. The hospital need to do surgery for those who in critical condition first. Well, she probally need to wait for about 2-3 months. I did ask MIL whether she want to wait so long or not, else she can do it in any private hospital, but she said she prefer to wait since it's not harmful. Ok, just follow her wish. What a relief when we know she is ok, but now she got another problem, she has high blood pressure! Need to take medicine daily and take care diet too! Morning session I brought Wien to school, to register her for both kindergarten(next year) and primary one. I leave Lyon to MIL, as she only go to hospital after lunch. Wien is happy when reached the school, she saw so many kids there. I asked her want to join them or not? She said : 不要啦！我只是来看看罢了！(don't want la, I just come here to look see look see !) . I told her start from next year you have to go to school everyday, cannot just stay home and watch TV, go to school make some friends and have fun there too! She just nodded her head.

Firstly I brought her to see the kindergarten class first. Ask her to remember what is their uniform's color, so that she can 报告爸爸！(report to papa) Later look for school office to do the registration. The headmaster said still early to register her for primary one (she born in 2002), come back next year la. But told me to register her for the kindergarten. For kinddy registration have to go another block of building. Wow, very far man, we did lot of walking till both of us sweating, very good exercise indeed! After the registration, I just let her explore the school. The school's wall full of painting and student's artwork, she like to see too. Walk, stop, see a while...the walk , stop, see again & again! We have a 5 minutes rest in a park, saw many park bench (石膏椅), I love this kind of chair very much during school life! It's so cooling when sit on it. I quickly call Wien to sit on it, after she sit, she said: 很冷咧，妈咪！很爽！(Mummy, it's cool! It's shiok!) We spent abt 1 hour there, then only back to home. After lunch only left me alone with the girls. They nap, I nap too! They have long nap though, I sleep for 1 hour, balance 2 hours I did some house work plus surfing net..hehehe! Whe they wake from nap, it was heavy rain, so cannot go for outdoor activity. When the rain stopped, Wien request to go outside to play bubble. I give them green light! Lyon so happy when she saw me open the gate, keep shouting :yeah! yeah! This cheeky girl!

They have fun playing bubble, Wien blow it, Lyon catch it. My camera skill very bad, cannot capture well those bubble, photoshop skill also bad, so just post whatever I captured..hahaha

Overall I love to stay at home with them.

Their Name...

Yes, today I want to blog on my girls' name. Let me start with their English name first. Many of my friends and bloggers had been asking why my girls' English name so funny unique, never heard before. Well , if you don't know Europe places'a name, then you will never know. Their name was named by hubby after his business trip to Vienna, Germany & France. Wien is the city of Vienna, Lyon is city name for France. Hubby like this 2 places very much as he found they are so nice and beautiful, and at that time, I was pregnant with the girls (year 2002 & 2004 respectively ), so he want to use it as their name. Although I strongly disagree at first, but he said he want to give them a meaningful name instead of those common name, on top of that they'll know where are those places. So I give in. Then he teased me: Do you know your name's meaning? Yes, I never know my name meaning..just simply taruh *sigh* I ever told hubby what if people laugh at them for having such funny uncommon name? He said never mind, as long as the girls and we know the meaning will do. Dun bother other's thinking or commet! But most of the time I have to do the explaination to my local friends (yes, Malaysian only), as they never heard of it before. I have no problem with oversea friends though. They even praise us for being so thoughtful, name after the beautiful city name. Between 2002-2004, hubby did lot of travelling to Europe, and he love Europe since then. Lucky at that time he never travel to China or Indonesia, else my girls will have more funny name then! hahaha....

为什麽我们的女儿会类似男儿名呢？原因无他。。。。皆因他们的老爸希望他的子女拥有有意义的名字！他又不喜欢阿连阿花普通的名字， 说没创意也没意义； 所以我取得名字全都打进冷宫。。。好，既然我取得名字不好听，那这任务就交给他啰！让他伤脑筋吧！ 他想了好久好久，接近预产期了还没决定大女儿的名字。结果有一个晚上， 在床上他说："我希望我的女儿将来会是个懂得冷静的思考， 在冷静的情况下善用她的思维。" 然后他就叫我从中找出适合的字眼。糟啦，还不是把烦恼滚回来给我！！哼！

后来我只能找出静和维，觉得这两个字满适合。虽然维这字有点中性，但他的老爸喜欢，就这样拼出大女儿的名字啦!

至于小女儿为什麽取成杰呢？也是她老爸取得! 原因是：希望将来的她也像姐姐一样，懂得冷静的思考，在冷静的情况下善用她的思维， 做个杰出的女强人！

我曾经反对杰这个字，太男性化了, 但若我取代洁或婕，那就失去它的意义了！

PonyBall

Wien has a Ponyball, she has it from SIL when she is nearly 2. She love to play with it, jumping with it from front to back, back to front! We have to give way, else sure kena bang by the pony! Sometimes when see her so happy playing with it, make want to join too! Too bad, I am too old to play it now! Being kids so good, happy go lucky, can play and eat non stop, no worry at all; sleep when tire, wake up then play again! Arghhhh, I miss my childhood! When she is 2, not master the ball yet, so she only sit and walk with it. When she is 3, she can jump even with her feet off the floor! Have not got the chance to snap photo for Lyon with Ponyball yet. Of couse she couldn't jump with it, she need mummy to hold her, then jump with it! Wow....very tired for mummy! I only can accmpany her for short while, else I'll have backache the next day!

Great Wall in My House too!

Few days ago, I just blog on Lyon like to write on her legs and body. Some of you commented better dun let them wrote on "forbidden" area. Well, some how it's too difficult to control, they just act too fast! Just like Twinsmom said: It's just 5 minutes only! then her sofa left with some "artist" signatures! Wien is much better than Lyon. At least she never write on wall or on her body when she is at Lyon age now. She only wrote on paper. But few months ago, she marked her signture on my bedroom's wall!!! One day she came and with us. But she couldn't fall asleep, keep mumbling and turning here and there. After some time, hubby heard strange sound, turn to her, only noticed she was doing the drawing on the wall!! When she is small, she never did it, now only start it. I hope this is the first time, also the last time.

This is Wien's artwork!

Lyon like to draw at one place, also on wall. The place was between sofa and cupboard, there is a gap between this 2 objects, just sufficient for this 小不点 to squeeze in and do her artwork there. I try to take photo but the lines not clear, unless I move away the sofa, then only can get clearer piture! Cannot blame, my lousy skill...

Now Lyon seldom draw there, after few times we warned her, she seem understand. So she go for her legs & hands!

My wall of course is forbidden area for them to write something, but not restrict them to paste anything on it. But only the wall in second hall. Some of you might noticed (in my previous blog)my wall was pasted with some kids reading or cartons, etc.....

The trend was started by my SIL#3, she like to paste her artwork there, just for Wien to see and read. She will teach Wien do the reading most of the time. Well, since she is married now, so the responsiblity had passed to papa. Mummy is lazy bum. Papa will get her to read it loud most of the time. When some paper become torn out, that also mean she had savvy with those reading too! So it's time to change to new thing.

The wall of course look not nice for some of our visitors, but who cares? As long as my girls can learn something from it! Lyon even more cute, she always "picks" apple or orange from the wall, and offer it to us to eat! lol...We plan to do the repainting once the girls enter school in 2-3 year time!

Papa taught her sing 快乐天堂 also via pasting the lyric on the wall, then teach her sentense by sentense. She learn the multiplication table (乘法表) from the wall too, so far can recite 2 but have difficulty for 3. We already happy with her result so far, no force her, just let her do it when she got the mood. Yes, when she no mood, 睬你都傻！

Roast Chicken with Cheese & Garlic

For cheese lover, you may try this dish; simple, yet yummy yummy! No special recepi, as I just topping the pre-marinated chicken with cheese and chopped garlic! In fact, I invented it after saw Twinsmom's roast chicken and Jazzmint's cheese dish, make me tempted to try on it! It turn out good wor, but I feel lack of cheese, should put more next time! I try with 4 chicken wings first, 2 for myself, 2 for hubby. Other family member (including the girls) dislike cheese, so no their share...hehe... Ok, finally managed to post in cookblog ! Happy trying!

Ma Ma's Birthday (嬷嬷）

15/04/06 is my MIL's birthday, no grand celebration, just small family gathering with some simple dish, of course not forget the cake! Before this I teach Wien DIY 3D card for her Ma Ma. This is the first time I teach her do crafting, before this is my SIL#3 taught her. Well, she enjoy doing it! I do all the cutting as Wien will cut out of shape for those images. She only do the gluing on the card. This card quite simple to do, believe some of you ever did it in your school time! While half way doing it, she keep go & tell Ma Ma that she is making card for her; wanna surprise her also cannot..*sigh* Lyon busy body too, she refuse to be with papa, wanna join us instead! So I get her sit in her high chair, give her scissor and paper, at least can keep her occupied! Dun worry she is holding a scissor with her, as I keep monitoring on her through out the session! After the card is ready, I ask her to write down her name as well as Lyon's name. Later I only found out she wrote as 小妹(xiao mei) instead of Lyon's name. Hehehe...maybe this is easier for her! Wien arrange the candles, seem like she is having the birthday. Ma Ma want to take photo with her with the card, but her eyes keep eying on the cake. She seem like can't wait to light up the candle & blow it! Lyon' s hands keeps wanna touch the cake while SIL do the cake cutting.

Messy/Dirty Lyon

Let's pictures tell the story.... Lyon likes to use pen nowadays, whenever she saw Wien writing or do the coloring, she would request one for herself. After pass her the pen, she would request for paper. So we just give her and let her 涂涂写写, in fact this will make her sit still for quite some times. But this naughty girl sometimes will do some tatto on her body, especially on her legs. These pic taken when she is 13 months. These were taken on 16/04/06. Can see the improvement as compare to previous pic, so many lines and the lines so long too! According to FIL, she grab the pen from his pocket and starts tattoo-ing her legs, she refuse FIL to stop her some more! Eeeee, whose hand so dirty?? These pictures were taken at my mum's place. Evening time, I let the girls play at the car park, they run here and there. After some times, papa spotted Lyon's hand so dirty, guess she must be rubbing on the floor. So he wanna snap photo for it. But Lyon refuse papa do so, she keep pushing away papa's hand while papa holding her hand. After few try, still not successful; so papa get Wien to hold her hand. Then this messy girl start crying loud. Later Wien put some small flowers on her palm, only she stop crying!! hehe..
