No vacation for me

Our Muslim friends celebrating their Hari Aidifitri festive now, therefore my company is close for 4 days. By right, this is the best time to arrange for holiday vacation. However hubby still has to work during the long break as his section still has lots of pending work waiting for him to solve. Another reason that he has to work is most of his Malay colleagues are off for festive, so hubby and his other non Malay colleagues have to replace them.

I cannot go anywhere since my driver has to work. I only can drive the kids to nearby shopping mall to spend our time. If we stay home will be more bore coz the weather pretty hot lately. How nice if we can spend our holiday at Orlando Holiday Villa, then we can enjoy the swimming at the villa’s swimming pool!

GPS Receiver become my helper

My road direction is very bad coz most of the time I rely on hubby to drive me to anywhere. During the driving journey, I just sit in the car and listen to radio, rather than learning the road direction. If hubby needs to work, then I got no choice but to wait for weekend then only go for outing as I need him to be our driver.

I was told we can fix a Magellan Maestro vehicle navigation system into our car and it able to give us road directions. Wow, first time I heard about this gadget! I think probably I will get one for myself since I cannot rely on hubby most of the time. Magellan Maestro GPS receivers are sleek, lightweight and the best part is I can go anywhere I like by entering address or name of the places that I want to go. After that we just touch the screen and hear turn by turn directions from the GPS receiver system. I think I will enjoy the driving experience even without hubby’s help!

My next target - LCD TV

LCD screen TV getting popular nowadays. This is due to the fine resolution and clear image shown by the TV. Frankly, if my current TV cannot function anymore, I am sure will buy one Samsung LN-T4061F Television to replace current TV. Imagine if I put the 40 inch TV at living hall, I am sure the kids will be the most excited one as they watch TV longer than me.

No doubt LCD screen TV is good but the price is a bit pricy to me. It ranges from $1200 - $1800. I think I have to wait for further sale from them then only I afford to own one for my house. Alternatively I can watch out from Shopping.com where it will show us the price comparison from different stores. Therefore I can select the store that able to offer the best price. The best of all is Shopping.com also able to provide us product reviews from consumer that ever shop at Shopping.com. We can use the reviews as guideline for our purchase.

Ok, I better save some saving for Samsung 40 inch LCD now. hopefully by next year I able to buy one!

Help her move house

My elder sister bought a new house lately. She and her family members plan to move in by end of this month. Currently they are busy packing their stuff into carton boxes or containers. She is complaining to me that so much work has to do for moving house. After packing the stuff, have to do labeling too, else they might have problem locating their stuff! On top of that, she has to look for mover to help the moving too! No wonder majority of us dislike moving house, packing and unpacking work will make you cry I tell you.

Well, if I will to move house one day, I will try to look for Cheap Moving Company. As I know this kind of company’s service getting professional now. Their Service Network is quick andthey have easy moving company matching system too. The best of all is they able to provide pre–negotiated up to 65% discounts for your move. Great deal?

Tomorrow I am Off!

Yippie! Start from tomorrow onwards, I will be off from working, in conjunction with Hari Raya festive for our Muslim friends. It's a long break as we will only start work by next Tuesday, 16/10/2007.

But I know some companies even off till 17/10/2007. Most of the time during peak season, we do not go travel as we know there is a big jam and crowd at express highway. It is better we stay home and relax, or do cleaning for the house.

By the way, I am going to meet up with Msau & family again by this Saturday. I had asked my mom to prepare big pot of Lui Cha ingredient for her, and I had also get ready those side ingredients for her. Hopefully my mom's version of lui cha will suit her taste!

PDA or MP3 Player?

My dear hubby is in dilemma now. He is planning to buy a PDA, at the same time eyeing at the Apple iPod. I told him why not buy both since money is not a problem to him now. But he doesn’t want to do so as he is a thrifty type of men; so far he never buys many gadgets at the same time.

How to avoid more summons?

My boss received another summon from road traffic department again. Well, this is not new to us coz my boss loves to speedy while he is at express highway. Too bad, he still never changes his driving attitude and still speedy most of the time.

I think he better install radar detectors into his car, so that he can lower his driving speed if the radar detector show him the traffic monitoring bands on the road. Hopefully by doing so, he able to reduce his summons and save the money. By the way, is the installation for radar detectors legal in our country? Better check out first before installation, else he might get caught one day!

Do I need treatment?

I think I am addicted to paid blogging now. it seem I do my paid post almost every day, even during office hour when I am free. Sometimes I can skip lunch during lunch break, just to finish some of my pending posts. If my bosses know I use office hour to do blogging, I am sure he will terminate my service immediately. Lucky blogging did not affect my job performance; I still can finish my works within working hour.

However I still think that blogging during office hour is no good. Do you think I need to get treatment from drug rehabs? Like those who addicted to drug or alcohol? If yes, do send me to Sunset Malibu as it is the most exclusive drug rehab in Malibu. Their facilities are superb and the environment look like hotel class too!

Big company Lousy service

We use DHL to send most of our documents and parcels to oversea countries. Frankly their service not really good even they are from big multinational company. Each time when I ask my girl to request for envelopes for sending documents, they will take their own sweet time to send me. What I mean own sweet time here is really long days or weeks to reach me. Most of the time I have to call them personally and scold them, threatened them I am going to terminate their service and switch to UPS or Fedex, then only they willing to send me the envelopes.

I use up a lot of DHL envelope sending document to my customer. About one week I can use roughly 3-4 pcs. Another angry part is I request for 50 pcs but they only send me 30pcs, so not even 2 months, I can finish all the envelopes. Then I have to request again.

Big company not necessary can function well as small company. Don’t be proud if you work in big MNC!

Sony or Samsung?

Previous post I mentioned that we want to buy a 50” Samsung flat panel TV. However hubby has different view from me as he prefer to buy Sony KDL-40V3000 40" BRAVIA. He is Sony supporter actually and he will opt for Sony for most of the electrical items in the house too. He commented that Samsung TV price is more expensive than Sony plus our house no need to buy such big screen flat panel. He prefers 40” than 50”. Looks like we have to listen to his opinion again. *sigh* I was told Shopping.com able to provide product reviews from different stores, perhaps I will get hubby to check it out and find out which store can offer us the best deal!

Why our TV so small?

Why our TV so small?

My girls complaining why our house TV unit smaller than her uncle’s house TV. 29 inch Vs 34 inch, of course can see the difference la. By the way, her uncle's house is bigger and more spacious than ours, sure he can buy big screen TV to place in his living hall. Our living hall no place to put bigger screen TV, unless we move out one cabinet, then we only got place to put big Samsung's 50" HP-T5084 there.

Why I mentioned Samsung’s 50"? Coz I love the big and flat panel TV as I can watch big images without the need to go nearer to the TV...hehehe…

Mind you, the price for a Samsung's 50" HP-T5084 is not cheap at all. I have to work hard for it now.

MP3 or MP4 Players?

Youngsters love to own new gadget, including my cousin too. He is 18 years old now and he loves to buy new and trendy gadgets whenever there is any new stuff in the market. Most of his pocket money that given by his parents are uses to buy those gadgets. Of course, his parents will nag with him since he did not spend his money wisely. *sigh* The problem now is how to control kids spending.

Lately he just bought a new iPod nano Black MP3 Players from online store. He told me that the price is real cheap after getting the discount plus shipping from the store. Hubby fall in love with his MP3 Player too and he keep checking with him which site he is buying from. The design is thin and light, can carry anywhere you like. No wonder hubby loves it! Ok, I will buy for MP3 player for him since Christmas festive is coming soon! Then less headache for me to think of what to buy for him.

Widget Bucks

SYH asked me to sign up Widget Bucks, as she told me that we can earn decent money from this advertiser too! Ok, I think I will try since we only need to place widget into my blog and wait for money rolling in. It is good that we no need to write post and scratch our head & brain. Later I will get hubby to sign up for his blog too since his blog only accept ads placement but not paid blogging!

FIL old junk

I am not sure how old the age is for FIL old junk. His car cannot start engine during raining day due to cool weather and the engine take longer time to warm up. Usually after raining day, the next morning, he will has hard time to move his car from car porch.

Hubby had been hinting him to change for another car, second car also can. We afraid his car might encounter breakdown half way during night journey. However FIL objected his suggestion coz he commented his old junk still in good condition and can move also. *roll eyes*

Old folks will never listen to us. *sigh*

Hubby wants PDA

My Hubby had been eyeing for one PDA long time ago. The reason why till now he still yet to get one for himself is the price for one PDA still high and he is waiting for big sale then only he will buy one.

Lately he saw many online stores or retail shops offer great price for Palm Tungsten E2, he tempted to get one too. The unit comes with brighter and richer color screen. The best feature is the flash memory can keeps information safe if we don't have time to recharge it. More ever Palm Tungsten E2 has the Bluetooth® wireless technology. No wonder hubby wants it.

In fact hubby also can buy his PDA from Shopping.com since the site will list out various stores that selling this product with product review too. He also can compare the prices from those stores before confirm his purchase.

TV no longer belong to me

Lately I have to fight with my girls then only I got chance to watch my favorite movies in TV. Each time when I on the TV channel, one of them sure will come to me and grab the remote control from me. She will press and select cartoon channel for her and ignore my instruction. When I show my angry face then only she willing to pass back the remote control to me. see, the TV no longer belong to me now.

I was thinking to buy another LCD TV for the living room, then the old unit can put in reading room to let the kids watch there. As I know Samsung LNT3242H, 32 inch HDTV LCD TV quite good quality. I love the big screen, can see the image clearly. However I am not sure whether hubby allow me to buy or not since LCD TV not cheap now. never mind, I will slowly coax him to agree with my selection.
