FAT – A Source of Energy

Ladies dislike Fat cause it make them look chubby and fat. However fats have a lot of major functions inside our body, don’t ever underestimate them!

Some of them are:

They carry the fat-soluble Vit A, D, E and K throughout the body.


They protect the delicate organs of the body to prevent it from shock or from jarring.


They are good sources of energy.


They add palatability to any dish.


They contribute to satiety.

I think if we eat fat moderately, shouldn’t be cause us having too much fat in our body. Many of us try to cut intake of meat, however if we take lean cuts and well-trimmed meats such as skinless chicken breast and lean cuts of beef, we still to cut the fat intake. Those meat type provide less than 10 grams of fat per 30 grams than and marbled meants or those with fatty streaks. We should limit fat meats like canned and processed meats such as corned beef, sausages and luncheon meats as they provide more than 10 gms of fat…psst pssst …those meats are my favorite ler…hehehe..
